Last weekend saw the start of our 2025 Spring Series with 24 boats competing across two fleets. The conditions were near-perfect with a steady 12-15 knot south-westerly breeze and bright sunshine.
In the Fast Fleet, the RS400s dominated the morning race with Robert Williams taking the gun ahead of James Martin. The afternoon race saw a shake-up with the RS200 of Mary Stevens correcting out to win on handicap.
"Great to see such a good turnout for the first race of the season. The fleet is looking competitive!" - James Wilson, Race Officer
The Slow Fleet saw close racing throughout with just seconds separating the top boats. John Harrison's Laser showed excellent form, while Susan Clarke in her Solo pushed hard throughout.
Full results are now available on the Results page. The series continues next Sunday with races 3 and 4.
